ADVERTISING ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE AND
MANAGER TRAINEE
National publisher of annual military newcomer and telephone
directories, chamber of commerce publications and visitor guides has
immediate openings to sell advertising space in our high quality
publications in San Diego and other Southwest U.S. locations. We require
all members of our sales team to be disciplined self-starters with a
record of professional accomplishment and personal achievement. A strong
Monday through Friday business-to-business work ethic is necessary to be
successful. No weekend or evening work. Some out of town overnight travel
may be necessary. We furnish protected territories with lucrative existing
accounts. Our management opportunity is also a selling position and
requires the ability to sell to business people, recruit others to sell,
train others in classic sales techniques, retain salespeople and manage a
commissioned sales force. First year average sales earnings for our
account executives range between $40,000 and $60,000, while managers earn

DISTRICT ADVERTISING SALES FIELD MANAGER
AdVantage Publishing, an established Western United States Chamber of
Commerce and Military publisher is seeking a dynamic and proven
ADVERTISING SALES MANAGER with a verifiable record of recruiting, training
and leading a commissioned sales force. The successful candidate will be a
lead by example manager who is able to simultaneously sell advertising
space, conduct recruiting efforts and orchestrate the on-going field
training of new and existing sales people. The qualified person will
possess these criteria:
Charisma and a high energy level
A very strong Monday through Friday work ethic
Sales training experience
A proven and successful commission sales and recruiting background
An ability to travel Monday through Friday overnight, when needed
Dedicated, eager and willing to grow professionally
